WORLD WITHOUT CANCER! [part1]

 (The Story of Vitamin B17

                 Is it possible?  COULD we live in a world without cancer?  G. Edward Griffin, the author of the book by  that title, gives some very intriguing evidences that gives us reason to believe that, yes, we CAN live without the fear of cancer!  Mr. Griffin goes into the specifics of which foods contain some very important cancer fighting nutrients that have been removed from the typical American diet.  One of these is Vitamin B17.  What is this vitamin?  What does it do concerning cancer?  What foods contain it?

                 Perhaps you've heard of this vitamin, a nitriloside, when referred to in its isolated form--laetrile.  This isolated vitamin is being used with tremendous success in most cancer clinics around the world--except the USA where the powerful pharmaceutical companies have successfully blocked its availability and usage.  After all, it would greatly eat into their profits if no one needed their chemotherapy drugs, or other drugs used for surgeries or for the side-effects of radiation, or the pain killers, or a host of other drugs and chemicals that are used in the gigantic "cancer industry!"

                Back to Vit. B17.  What is it and what does it do?  This vitamin is composed of two units of glucose, one of benzaldehyde, and one of cyanide, tightly locked together.  "Cyanide!  But, Carmie, that's a deadly poison!"  That's correct.  And so is benzaldehyde.  So why, on Earth, would we want to put that into our bodies?  This is where it gets exciting!  As we better understand God's design of this body, we can't help but marvel!  Let me quote from Mr. Griffin's book, page 88.  "However, locked as it is in this natural state, it is chemically inert and has absolutely no effect on living tissue."  He goes on to explain that there is only one substance that can unlock the molecule and release these two poison, an enzyme called beta-glucosidase.  On page 89 he says, "Fortunately, the unlocking enzyme is not found to any dangerous degree anywhere in the body except at the cancer cell, where it always is present in great quantity, sometimes at levels in excess of one-hundred times that of the surrounding normal cells.  The result is that vitamin B17 is unlocked at the cancer cell, releases its poisons to the cancer cell, and only to the cancer cell."

                 Isn't that amazing?  In the words of the famous TV salesman, "But wait  There's more!"  God also provided a "protecting enzyme" called rhodanese.  This enzyme has the ability to neutralize cyanide and instantly convert it into by-products that are actually beneficial and essential to health.  And guess where this enzyme is present?  It is present in great quantities in every part of the body except at the cancer cells.  So, the entire body is protected from the dangers of cyanide except for the cancer cells.  So God not only provided the necessary enzyme to unlock the molecule and release its poisons, and only at the site of cancer cells, but He also provided the enzyme necessary to protect normal cells, and even provide by-products that are essential to health.  Isn't His design fantastic!?!

                So, how do we get vitamin B17 into our diet?  From some of the very foods that we have been told NOT to eat!  Yes, the long arm of the pharmaceutical companies promotes much propaganda concerning this.  Want the evidence?  Read the book!  It is VERY well documented from cover-to-cover.  [We can order it for you or you can ask for it at your health food store.]  Ok, Ok, I'm getting to the list of foods.  It's found all over the world in over twelve-hundred edible plants.  Is is particularly prevalent in the seeds of those fruit in the Prunus Rosacea family (bitter almond [the almonds sold in the USA are not the bitter almonds and do not contain any notable amount of this vitamin], apricot, blackthorn, cherry, nectarine, peach, and plum), but also contained in grasses, maize, sorghum, millet, cassava, linseed and apple seeds.  Do you remember that God told us in Genesis 1:29 to eat foods containing their seeds?  Here is one very important reason why!  People used to always eat the seeds right along with the apple, the grapes, and others.  Grandma used to almost always crack open the pits of the peaches and apricots and include their kernels in her preserves.  The famous long-living, cancer free Hunzakuts are shocked when Americans eat the flesh of the apricot and then drop the pit to the ground.  They consider the kernel inside the pit to be of great value.  Wild bears seek out those berries rich in nitriloside (those that grow on vines like roses, with seeds on their outside, such as blackberries and raspberries).  Monkeys and primates go right for the kernels when given peaches or apricots to eat.  Sick cats and dogs eat grass.  And the list of comparisons goes on and on.

                What could we be eating?  Our apple seeds along with our apples; millet instead of wheat; blackberries and raspberries; flaxseeds; the kernels out of the pits of our peaches and apricots; purchased apricot kernels (from health food stores or order online from www.sunorganic.com ), and drink lots and lots of  barley grass juice, such as AIM's BarleyLife®  or Hallelujah Acres Barley Max!  (This is one more reason why cancer patients benefit so much from consuming 6-10 tablespoons a day.)

                 That's quite a bold statement--World Without Cancer--that is what G. Edward Griffin used as a title for his book.  Last month I asked the question, "Is, it possible?"  He gives many intriguing evidences that it may not be as far fetched as it sounds.  In the previous newsletter I explained about Vitamin B17, a nitriloside that is called laetrile in its isolated form.  I explained how that at the site of malignant cells there is a specific enzyme that "unlocks" this vitamin, releasing two powerful poisons that attack the malignant cells.  I also explained that at the site of normal cells there is a "protecting" enzyme that is not present at the site of malignant cells.  (God's design is SO amazing!)  You'll recall that this vitamin is especially rich in apricot kernels, bitter almonds, the seeds of raspberries and blackberries, cassava, millet, apple seeds, grasses, and more.

                This month I'd like to continue looking at God's amazing design of this body as it relates to cancer protection.  This month I will tell you the story of the role of protein and carbohydrate digesting enzymes.  This story begins way back at the time of conception.  God has given us wondrous cells called stem cells--cells that can become any cell in the body.  And for this new growing life, they DO become every different kind of cell in the body!  Surrounding this growing life there are stem cells that become what are known as trophoblast cells, their production being stimulated by estrogen.  They nourish the embryo until the placenta is developed.  They also are what makes the placenta.  What protects these "parasites"--the embryo and placenta--from being destroyed by the immune system?  God has given them a coating, that is made of carbohydrates and proteins, that has a negative charge.  The white blood cells that are designed to recognize and eliminate foreign proteins also have a negative charge.  If you remember, like charges repel--push away from each other.  This means that the white blood cells can't get to the baby or placenta to destroy them!

                What does all of this have to do with cancer?  I'll come back to that in a moment.  Now I'd like to explain that wherever in our body there is some sort of damage--by chemicals (drugs, pollution, cleaning products, lotions, cigarette smoke, etc.), or toxic "foods" (coffee, artificial sweeteners, colorings, preservatives, salty, fried, sugary, refined, etc.), by physical injury, or whatever--estrogen stimulates stem cells to become trophoblast cells so that they can go in and become whatever kind of cell was damaged, thereby replacing it as the old damaged one is removed by the body.  Problems arise when the damage continues and repairs must be made over and over again, and/or the trophoblast cells multiply out of control, don't differentiate into the specific cells they should become, or don't know when to die, as normal cells do.

                Why would the trophoblast cells multiply out of control, causing a mass to grow?  One reason can be an excessive amount of unopposed estrogen in the body, stimulating too much growth.  We've addressed this many times when talking about men's and women's hormone balancing.  We'll probably come back to it again before too long.  Another reason is one you should be figuring out from what was said above.  Trophoblast cells have that protective coating of protein and carbohydrate that has a negative charge--the white blood cells can't get to them to destroy them.  Back to the baby and placenta in the womb.  What keeps the placenta from growing out of control and finally after about 9 months is rejected from the body, bringing on birth?  It was discovered that when the developing baby reaches the age of 8 weeks, the growth of the trophoblast cells settles down.  This just "happens" to also be the time that the baby's pancreas begins to put out its digestive enzymes--including amylase for digesting carbohydrates and proteases for digesting proteins.  Hmmm.  Is the picture beginning to come together for you?  When the negatively charged coating of carbohydrates and protein is digested, the white blood cells of the immune system can go in and destroy the trophoblast cells!  After about 9 months in the womb, the enzymes from the pancreases of both the mother and baby seem to be able to finally remove this protective coating, causing the baby and placenta to be expelled (born).  (There are also other factors, such as the drop in estrogen [stem cells are no longer being stimulated to become trophoblast cells] and progesterone [which causes the maintaining of the endometrium], as well as other factors.  God's ways are so amazing!)

                Back to cancer.  We need to prevent the excess estrogen in our systems that promote trophoblast formation.  Using natural progesterone, such as AIM's Renewed Balance®, or Balanced Woman Cream from Hallelujah Acres, helps oppose estrogen. It is also very valuable to eliminate the animal products, since they are fed estrogen--growth hormones.  But why aren't the digestive enzymes doing their job of keeping up with digesting the coatings on trophoblast/cancer cells in the body, so that the immune system can get to them and destroy them?  Well they DO, constantly, every day.  But after years of eating much too much protein--the animal based diet of most Americans (meat, poultry, fish, milk, cheese, yogurt, eggs, etc.), our pancreases kind of "wear out."  We've way overworked our pancreases for so long that they can no longer keep up with the demand.  (This is also one of the reasons that digestion becomes poor, with all of its associated problems.)  What can we do?  We can supplement these enzymes!  Both AIM's Prepzymes® and Hallelujah Acres Digestive Enzymes contain both amylase and protease enzymes!  When we take digestive enzymes with meals they help to digest our food.  When we take them on an EMPTY stomach, they go looking for something else to digest, including the coating on those trophoblast/cancer cells!!  How much can you take?  According to Dr. Michael O'Brien, he's given people--including Dr. Bernard Jensen when he was on his death bed with prostate cancer--as much as the equivalent of 500 capsules (5 bottles) a day!  In other words, you can't take too much.  (By the way, 8 weeks later, Dr. Jensen was hiking in the hills.)  Stories like this abound!  As for me, I will continue to use the natural progesterone (AIM's Renewed Balance® or Balanced Woman Cream) and take lots of enzymes for the rest of my life.  I will also drink my BarleyLife or BarleyMax, as they are so very, very rich is Vitamin B17 (grass, remember?).  Plus they are abundant in enzymes!  Add to this that they are very alkalizing (cancer grows in an acidic environment but not in an alkaline one) and are rich in antioxidants, drinking plenty everyday seems to me to be a very sensible thing to do, don't you agree?  For those of you who wish to prevent cancer or combat an existing cancer, you also might want to consider if the natural progesterone, the living organic barley grass juice, and the plant source digestive enzymes is something you'd like to add to your daily routine--for the rest of your life!                                                                                  ……..Carmie
